Work highlights

  • Acted as fund counsel to Barings Global Private Loan Fund 4 and Barings Global Private Loan Fund 4(S), together with GPLF4, the GPLF4 Funds, which are together Barings’ fourth private credit fund products in relation to its flagship global private loan platform.
  • Provides UK law guidance and assistance in connection with Ardian’s fundraises. In 2022, these have included multi-billion Euro fundraises for ASF IX, ASF VIII Infrastructure and Ardian Private Debt V.
  • Advised an investor on its investment into Octopus Energy’s European renewable energy platform, which included the seeding of a new fund set up to acquire renewable energy development projects, focused in particular on solar and wind.
