  • Continuing to advise Royal Trust of Canada and negotiate with HMRC and the French tax authorities an agreement as to whether a large number of trusts, related to historic mistreatment of the First Nations peoples and their lands, would need to report under the TRS in either the UK or France.
  • Advised an UHNWI (a very wealthy French sibling of three) in connection with a number of trusts of which its client is a beneficiary and in connection with proposed Public Trustee v Cooper proceedings in Guernsey.
