Steered by the highly experienced renewable energy and energy transition specialist Rob Marsh, Norton Rose Fulbright ‘s infrastructure practice has had an impressive year, pulling in a large volume of work acting for both public and private bodies on a series of complex and significant cross-border mandates. Work highlights

  • Advised the financiers (International Finance Corporation and Islamic Development Bank) on all aspects of the US$750 million Queen Alia International Airport PPP project in Amman, Jordan, which is owned and operated by Airport International Group, a consortium led by ADP International and Meridiam.
  • Advised the Ministry of Finance of Angola in relation to the c. USD 1 billion financing for the development of the Bita water production, transmission and distribution facilities and system in South Luanda.
  • Advised Bank Muscat SAOG in its capacity as lender on the financing to Helios Towers and Rakiza Telecommunications for the purpose of financing the acquisition of Oman Tech Infrastructure SAOC.
