Work highlights
- Advising Qatargas, the world’s largest supplier of LNG, which is a Qatar Energy (the former Qatar Petroleum) subsidiary, on its vessel acquisition project, which forms a key element of the expansion of its North gas field.
- Advising client on amendments to a bareboat charter and services agreement in relation to a floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) operating on a field in which the client is an equity partner; subsequently, advising on proposals for the acquisition of the FPSO by a new owner, and a new operation and maintenance agreement for the FPSO.
- Advised Navigator Gas, the owner and operator of the world's largest fleet of handysize liquefied gas carriers, on its joint venture with Greater Bay Gas Co, intending to acquire a total of five ethylene vessels which are currently commercially managed by the Luna Pool.
