Testimonials

Collated independently by Legal 500 research team.

  • ‘My experience with the team is limited to a single international nuclear power project over the past five and a half years. The project is highly complex and the first of its kind in the host country. K&S has done an excellent job of staffing the project with subject matter specialists in power project development, project finance, nuclear regulatory issues, local law issues, international treaty and sanctions and other relevant matters. Very few firms with whom I have dealt in 50 years of in-house practice can match K&S in capability and experience required to manage a project of this complexity and sensitivity.’

  • ‘Collegiality across offices internationally; accessibility and responsiveness; ability to work effectively with and manage other firms serving the client.’

  • ‘K&S Team is approachable and is quick to respond.’

  • ‘The team from King & Spalding was a very skilled and focused team, able to provide excellent guidance and input to the client throughout the process. All team members were incredibly responsive and engaged in detailed discussions around approach and strategy. There was a clear knowledge across the team of not only the legal issues, but the relevant industry issues as well.’

  • ‘Tom Sprange and and Sajid Ahmed were engaged closely with the matter throughout and had a very detailed and clear understanding of all of the relevant issues. There was never a sense that any of the team were 'dipping in' to the work and they retained an incredibly detailed knowledge of all matters throughout and were able to provide key insights from this. The team was also incredibly diverse and all members of the team were excellent.’

  • ‘Partner level focus.’

  • ‘Nikhil Markanday is a very hands-on and contactable partner. Better than common partner in pitch meeting and then leaving work to associates.’

  • ‘The team at King and Spalding is very unique specifically on how they come up with strategic plans and timely delivery. They integrate and relate very well with their clients and create a very comfortable environment during meetings regardless of the tensions faced during moments, where hard decisions are taken, this is a unique quality, as it helps clients focus better.’

  • ‘It’s just pure class and effectiveness. The diligence, hard work, analytical and forensic approach, only ensures all aspects are covered.'
