In 2022, the social housing team at Bevan Brittan LLP won both appointments and reappointments to a number of housing association panels. Practice head Andrew Shaw has 22 years’ experience advising London-based registered providers on housing development and regeneration schemes. He leads the team alongside Louise Leaver and Wendy Wilks, who act for not-for-profit and for-profit registered providers, and they handle sector-significant joint ventures, mergers, and private placements. Neil Brand contributed to the continued expansion of the housing management team and senior associate Fiona McDonald assists with all stages of development acquisitions. The team noted an increasing overlap between housing and other sectors, with registered providers and developers looking to develop land to support health trusts and care companies.
