Baker McKenzie has a dedicated UK public company advisory practice which services the needs of its high-profile listed clients and is able to draw on strength from practice areas across the firm to handle on a broad range of issues, including ESG matters, compliance, annual general meetings (AGMs), workplace culture, and corporate and transaction-related issues. The team is led by Beatriz Pessoa de Araujo, Helen Bradley and Jo Hewitt, with Araujo drawing on her experience as a corporate lawyer to advise boards and multinational groups on company law, and in particular directors' duties and governance. Bradley is a name for cross-border M&A, and corporate finance and acts for a number of high-profile international banks, while Hewitt is recommended for reporting issues, stakeholder engagement and board-level matters. At the more junior end of the team, senior associates Paul Anderson and Tom Quincey advise on transaction-related governance issues and ongoing reporting matters.
