Clifford Chance LLP’s diverse IP practice advises on a full suite of IP matters, from disputes to day-to-day support work. The practice is especially strong when acting for clients in the healthcare, life sciences, TMT and consumer goods sectors. The team is led by Stephen Reese, whose broad range of capabilities include advising clients on the protection, exploitation and enforcement of IP rights, as well as strengths in contentious matters, while Vanessa Marsland has notable expertise in handling brands, being particularly active in the technology, media and consumer goods. Don McCombie joined from Ashurst in June 2022, bolstering the practice with his experience in disputes relating to IP and technology.
