Work highlights

  • Advised the EAIF on a $294m debt raise as part of a bigger long-term $500m debt finance to invest $700m in infrastructure within the next few years for one of the largest capital raises emanating from a consortium of prominent financial institutions, comprising the Allianz Group, Standard Bank Group and KfW, to further develop infrastructure in Africa.
  • Advised MEMG International Ltd, which forms part of the Manipal Group conglomerate, on the second part of a wider $17m financing to a Mauritian fund from JM Financial International Resilience Fund VCC, a Singaporean fund set up as variable capital companies entity.
  • Advised an Indian fintech start-up, which provides technology services to leading banks and other financial institutions such as payment solutions, lending management systems and core banking technology, on outsourcing of data from Mauritius to India.
