Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer‘s tax group provides a comprehensive service, supporting the M&A team on cross-border tax structuring advice, while also maintaining a standalone tax advisory practice. The team is also called upon to represent clients in tax and state aid disputes. Practice head Eelco van der Stok advises a number of corporates and private equity investors on tax structuring and transactional matters, displaying particular expertise in the tech sector. Bob van Kasteren’s focus lies in the tax aspects of M&A, structured finance deals and international investments; along with Daan van Schaik, he also handles tax disputes.
