The commercial litigation department at Ward Hadaway LLP, led by Peter Hornsey, supports client in traditional commercial matters as well as transport and cargo disputes. Alongside general commercial disputes, Melissa Munday also has a particular focus on marine and insurance litigation, where she routinely acts for domestic and foreign cargo and liability insurers, freight forwarders, recovery agents and logistics operators. Nick Wells, who joined the team in January 2024 from Flint Bishop Limited, handles disputes arising from M&A, joint ventures and commercial development projects.
