Marie works primarily within litigation and arbitration, with a particular focus on cross border disputes. She has extensive experience with litigation before the ordinary courts, as well as national and international arbitration (ICC, SCC, OCC, DIA and ad hoc), and her work has covered a wide range of industries and issues. Marie holds a PhD in private international law from the University of Oslo, where she continues to teach. In 2021, she was admitted to the Supreme Court, and in 2022, she topped the ranking of up and coming dispute resolution lawyers in the Norwegian Financial Daily's annual lawyers survey.
