Work highlights
- Advised a syndicate of lenders on the amendment and increase of an existing multi-jurisdictional syndicated secured loan facility of up to $1.04bn granted to EnfraGen Energía Sur to finance the acquisition of six renewable energy assets in Panama and Costa Rica from Celsia Centroamerica.
- Advised Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior (Bladex) on the registration of its inaugural Panamanian revolving bond programme, allowing for the issuance of up to $300m in bonds.
- Acted as Panamanian counsel to McDermott International, as well as Credit Agricole and Barclays as the lenders (with an ethical wall), in connection with up to $253.6m in letters of credit facilities and $250m in term loan commitments granted to McDermott to strengthen its storage tank business.
