The banking and finance team at Dentons Peru received a significant boost in 2022, with the arrival of Ignacio López De Romaña and senior associate Augusto Ibérico from Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uria. Key clients of the department include lenders and borrowers, such as banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, multilateral agencies and corporations, and core areas of focus include financial transactions and regulatory matters. López now heads the team alongside Julio Gallo and is active in financing transactions, acting for foreign and domestic clients in bilateral and syndicated loans and lines of credit, while Gallo is recommended for corporate finance and M&A. Ibérico is experienced in cross-border financing operations and counts a number of fintech companies among his clients.
