The bankruptcy and restructuring team offer a diverse range of expertise and in depth experience in the education mining, energy, fishing and financial sectors. The department is well equipped to handle the preparation and negotiation of organisation and liquidation plans, corporate liquidations, insolvency proceedings and distressed M&A deals. The practice group is co-led by experienced partners Michelle Barclay Thorne, who has extensive experience in international and national insolvency matters as well as corporate restructuring and liquidation, and Victor Farro, who specialises in bankruptcy and administrative matters.
