The rapidly growing competition and antitrust practice at Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas has experience advising on phase 1 and phase 2 merger control proceedings, often in the energy, telecoms and pharmaceutical sectors. The group advises on antitrust issues and litigation related to cartels, vertical restraints and abuse of dominant position, while also covering regulatory advice relating to unfair competition and the elimination of bureaucratic barriers. The team is jointly led by Alberto Rebaza, Luis Miguel Elias and Marcia Arellano, all of whom are well versed in corporate transactional, antitrust and compliance training work. The department was further strengthened by the arrival of senior associate Magaly Varela, who previously served as legal coordinator of the First Merger Control Division of INDECOPI. Fernando Rodriguez, also a senior associate, is a key contact within the team, as is associate Rosario Miranda.
