Punching above its numerical size, Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas' small labour and employment team nevertheless delivers comprehensive legal advisory on complex labour issues - including collective bargaining and administrative inspections - as well as handling associated administrative and judicial litigation. The team is also well-versed in transactional labour matters, from due diligence to employee transfers, hiring and dismissals, policy development and training. Maria Haydee Zegarra advises on hiring and lay-offs, collective bargaining and outsourcing matters, among others, as well as originating defence strategies and in-house labour policies - particularly as regards sexual harassment. She co-leads the department with Omar Diaz, whose broad practice spans the development, review, and design of employment agreements, labour compliance, and the handling of labour disputes with unions.
