The tax team at Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas was bolstered in April 2022, with the arrival of César Luna Victoria from Rubio Leguía Normand; Luna now heads the team alongside Camilo Maruy Nordlander and Víctor Valdez. The practice advises on tax matters relating to finance, capital markets, retail, telecomms, infrastructure and real state, among other areas. It has a notable track record in non-contentious work, such as cross-border M&A, reorganisations, project finance and tax planning, and also handles contentious matters, including procedures brought by SUNAT. Nordlander specialises in private wealth and international tax matters, Valdez advises on restructurings and tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, and Luna brings expertise in corporate tax and regulatory matters. Jennifer Saavedra is a name to note at the associate level. Since publication, the practice has been further strengthened with the hire of Roberto Polo as the goup's fourth partner; arriving from PwC in June 2024, he brings additional expertise regarding the tax aspects of financings and capital markets transactions, along with private clients' work.
