The group is also noted for asset finance, including aviation and ship finance, through the presence of Simon Spells. Hagen Rooke provides further expertise in financial regulatory matters, including fintech, payment services and digital assets; this involves a steady pipeline of financing engagements. Omar Al-Ali is an established practitioner in trade and commodities finance, as is Philip Orme who has been promoted to counsel and now leads many of the office’s key engagements.
