Work highlights
- Acting for Deutsche Telekom AG in proceedings in the Singapore International Commercial Court to enforce an investment treaty arbitration award against the Republic of India, with a significant quantum in dispute in excess of US$140 million. We were successful in resisting the Republic of India’s application to set aside the order granting leave to enforce the award.
- Acted as counsel for two Korean entities in a Singapore-seated ICC arbitration involving the licensing rights to a popular online game, and successfully obtained a USD 150 award against three Respondents incorporated in the People's Republic of China, the Cayman Islands and the Republic of Korea. We successfully resisted the setting aside applications brought by the respondents before the Singapore International Commercial Court.
