Representing a globally recognised Spanish construction company Sacyr in a treaty claim against the Republic of Panama under the Spain-Panama BIT. The dispute relates to the Third Set of Locks expansion for the Panama Canal.
Representing PETRONAS International Corporation Limited in an ICSID arbitration against the Republic of South Sudan, arising from the latter’s frustration of the sale by the client of its 100% shareholding in a subsidiary that held PETRONAS’ petroleum assets in-country on grounds which the clients alleges were in founded, pretextual, and in breach of South Sudanese law.
