Work highlights
- Represented a former serviceman in the armed forces who has suffered an eight-year delay in diagnosing and treating a posterior labral tear, resulting in his medical discharge from the army.
- Assisted a family with representation for the inquest into the death of their son, who had autism and learning disabilities. The Coroner concluded, amongst a number of other failings, that there was a failure to diagnose sepsis contributed to by neglect and the Coroner issued a Prevention of Future Deaths Report.
- Acted for a client in respect of an allegedly negligent delay in diagnosis and treatment of a diabetic foot ulcer, resulting in partial amputation and causing a substantial delay in a renal transplant.
