Mannheimer Swartling’s M&A team handles a wide variety of matters, ranging from buy-and-build mandates to multijurisdictional carve-outs, with a particularly strong reputation for working on large-scale transactions. The team has notable expertise in renewable energy M&A as well as in emerging sectors, advising several leading Swedish startups in relation to strategic acquisitions. Isabella Ramsay, who specialises in cross-border carve-outs, leads the practice in Stockholm. Patrik Marcelius leads the public M&A team, while Martin Pekkari, especially strong in the rail and infrastructure, manufacturing, and public sectors, oversees the corporate commercial division. Johan Ljungberg and Hans Petersson lead teams in Gothenberg and Malmö, respectively.
