Mannheimer Swartling’s energy group is made up of experienced professionals from several of the firm’s practices focusing on M&A, finance, regulatory, and contentious matters, among other issues, in the energy space. The firm continues to play a key role in major renewable energy production projects as well as in the sustainable energy transition generally, with recent highlights including handling an asset financed solar power project, adding to the host of wind farms developed in the country. M&A expert Emma Olnäs Fors in Gothenburg co-chairs the group; she is regularly involved in energy related matters, including wind farm acquisitions and divestments. Stockholm-based banking and finance specialist Andreas Zettergren also jointly leads the group, focusing on renewable energy project financings. Therese Strömshed in Malmö, who has expertise in energy infrastructure, offshore wind, and electricity market matters, also heads up the group.
