Handling a range of complex and cross-border disputes, ‘constructive and positive’ Bär & Karrer Ltd.’s arbitration capabilities encompass, among other areas, technology, sports and oil and gas related matters. Nadja Jaisli co-heads Bär & Karrer's arbitration practice and and specializes in international commercial arbitration and litigation. She has extensive experience in representing clients before Swiss courts and in international arbitrations (both ad hoc and institutional, primarily ICC and Swiss Rules), involving a wide array of matters. She has gained particular experience in the banking and finance, the pharmaceutical and the transportation industries and handled complex disputes arising from M&A transactions, joint ventures and shareholders' agreements, the sale of goods as well as license and supply agreements. In addition to her work as party counsel, Nadja Jaisli also sits as arbitrator (in particular under ICC, Swiss and DIS Rules). Nadja Jaisli is a member of the Board of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) and regularly speaks and publishes in the field of international dispute resolution. She is ranked as "Up and Coming" in Chambers Global (Litigation) and Chambers Europe (Litigation and Arbitration), listed in Who's Who Legal's Switzerland Arbitration and Future Leaders Arbitration ranking and as a "Rising Star" in the Commercial Arbitration category by Euromoney Legal Media Group (Expertguides, LMG Rising Stars).
