In addition to the firm's abilities within arbitrations themselves, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan (Schweiz) GmbH regularly represents clients before national courts concerning arbitration proceedings, handles high-stakes appeal proceedings and assists with the enforcement of arbitral awards against assets located in Switzerland. Co-lead Philippe Pinsolle is chair of the firm’s international arbitration practice for continental Europe and is noted for his capabilities in the energy, power, construction, and defence industries. Fellow co-lead Simon Vorburger’s wealth of experience includes acting as counsel in international commercial arbitrations as well handling investment treaty claims. Managing partner and finance disputes expert Thomas Werlen further bolsters the practice.
