The team also has particular expertise in advising on the legal implications of emerging technologies, like AI or blockchain, and technology transfer projects. Nicola Benz, who co-heads the practice, supports clients such as investors and suppliers across the life sciences and technology industries in outsourcing, licensing, joint ventures, and collaborations, as well as associated intellectual property issues. Co-head Lukas Bühlmann advises domestic and international clients on matters relating to e-commerce, data protection, advertising, and the legal aspects of the digital economy. Michael Reinle has extensive expertise in areas such as software development, licensing, and data transfers. Michael Schüepp sports a special focus on e-commerce, data protection as well as unfair competition and antitrust law in the online context.
