Eiger’s intellectual property team, led by John Eastwood, has significant combined expertise and continues to represent American and European multinationals, as well as domestic companies, in relation to a wide range of IP matters. Eastwood, who sits on the board of directors of Taiwan’s European Chamber of Commerce, has worked in the past year with major food and technology companies in relation to their varied IP requirements, handling litigation for Amazon against a major Taiwan retailer. Heather Hsiao regularly advises iconic American and European luxury goods brands on their IP matters, and has previously secured an important domain-name arbitration victory for an international client. Joanne Lee, who was also involved in that arbitration, has recently acted for a food safety company.
