Career

David Lender is Co-Chair of Weil’s global Litigation Department, a member of the Firm’s Management Committee, and a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has more than 30 years of experience litigating and trying bet-the-company complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts around the U.S., as well as in arbitration proceedings. David focuses on antitrust, class action, consumer fraud, contract, patent, and IP matters, among others. He has tried more than 30 cases to verdict as first chair, and serves as primary and longstanding outside counsel to a wide range of market-leading companies, including BASF, eBay, Eli Lilly, ExxonMobil, GlobalFoundries, GrubHub, and GoodRx. He is regularly recognized as a preeminent trial lawyer and litigator by leading industry publications, and is a recognized expert, author and frequent lecturer on electronic discovery issues.
