Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP
Client SatisfactionHunton Andrews Kurth LLP provides ‘very practical and strategic’ advice to clients from a wide range of industry sectors, including energy, where the firm has strong and longstanding roots. Asbestos-related contamination work remains a strength, with numerous lawyers spread across the national network adept at defending clients in direct occupational exposure cases, bystander claims and para-occupational, or “take-home” cases. Appreciated for her ability to ’explain very complex scientific information in an understandable way’, Richmond-based litigator Alexandra Cunningham is very experienced at handling asbestos matters, as well as cases involving alleged chemical contamination. She also handles PFAS matters and is part of a firmwide interdisciplinary group that knits together regulatory, litigation and technical expertise to good effect for clients seeking to navigate the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape and to effectively respond to litigation and enforcement actions and advise on PFAS regulatory compliance and clean-up. Georgia Lucier and Thomas Waskom co-head the overarching product liability and mass tort litigation group with Cunningham from Houston and Richmond, respectively.
