Norton Rose Fulbright‘s insurance team deals with national and international insurance and reinsurance matters, with notable strength in representing major global insurance companies in complex Bermuda Form excess casualty arbitrations. The practice is co-led by four partners: Neel Lane, based in San Antonio, supports the practice in handling insurers in coverage litigation, class action suits, reinsurance arbitrations, and other disputes. In New York, fellow co-head Mina Matin is recognized for her work in Bermuda Form arbitrations, with extensive experience representing international insurers, reinsurers, and captive insurance companies in litigation and arbitrations worldwide, while Robert Romano is notable for his extensive experience in insurance regulatory and corporate matters. This year, the team has gained additional strength with Kevin Fischer joining as co-head from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, contributing experience in complex insurance M&A transactions, bringing with him a team including partners Bruce Baty, Jodi Adolf, and Michael Schwartz.
