Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP‘s asset management team advises across diverse asset classes, namely real estate and infrastructure, secondary and stake investments, buyout and credit funds as well as in the area of venture capital, on the launch and maintenance of flagship funds for large credit sponsors and global asset managers. The team is primarily based in New York, including practice heads Kenneth Rosh and Lawrence Barshay, with the former advising on corporate and securities transactions with a particular focus on private equity fund formation, and the latter on the structuring and representation of investment funds. Jeremy Berry is particularly strong in corporate transactions and private investment fund formation. Rebecca Zelenka is another key name in the department and covers diverse fund types and a broad scope of asset classes. Arinze Onugha assists with the formation and maintenance of national and offshore private investment funds and was made partner in March of 2023 and Michael Sherman joined the firm from Dechert LLP in the previous month, while Jonathan Rash and Matthew Howard left the team in November 2023 and Martin Strauch departed the firm in March 2024.
