Guyer & Regules boasts expertise in energy, infrastructure and project finance in Uruguay. The firm advises a broad spectrum of clients, from renewables to major players in oil and gas, with notable expertise in power purchase agreements, PPPs, concessions and financing. The department is co-headed by Juan Manuel Mercant, who specialises in oil, gas, hydrogen, renewables and data centre projects. Federico Susena, also co-head, brings deep sector knowledge in oil, gas, renewables, hydrogen and blockchain infrastructure. Susena has led landmark projects in offshore exploration and LNG. Marcos Payssé advises on major infrastructure and financing deals. Federico Piano brings end-to-end expertise in project finance.
