The department has been involved in arbitration proceedings subject to the regulations of the ICC, ICSID and UNCITRAL in the international arena, and CEDCA and CACCC for domestic cases. Carlos Domínguez Hernández and José Alberto Ramírez co-lead the practice, with the former specialising in commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution, while the latter is experienced in arbitration, having acted as counsel and co-counsel in numerous international and national arbitrations. Lisette García Gandica has notable expertise in IP litigation and was also recently listed as a CEDCA arbitrator. Elias Tarbay has represented clients from a range of industries, including retail and IT, in commercial arbitration, as well as in civil and commercial disputes before the Venezuelan courts.
