Work highlights

The matter was discontinued by the Claimant following the team's investigations which revealed that they had been fundamentally dishonest regarding the extent of the injuries.
  • Represented NHS Resolution and a Trust at the inquest and in the claim concerning the death of a young mental health service user following a fatal overdose of heroin. The fatal accidents claim was settled within a matter of months after the Letter of Claim was served by the family.
  • Represented NHS Resolution and a Trust at the inquest and in the claim concerning a birth injury due to Kiellands rotational forceps delivery. The birth injury resulted in paralysis from the neck downwards and the baby sadly passed away at 4 months of age. Following the inquest, liability was admitted and the Trust attended a mediation in order to resolve the matter for the family as soon as possible.
