Ewan has more than a decade’s experience writing across various editions of The Legal 500 and was involved at the outset of The Legal 500 US series, and has contributed to every subsequent edition. He completed the CPE and LPC at the College of Law in London and qualified as a solicitor following a training contract at Ambrose Appelbe. Now a freelance journalist, Ewan was formerly Assistant Editor across The Legal 500 series. His particular specialisms include acquisition finance, asset finance and private equity, areas he has researched and edited for the past four years for the UK guide. Internationally, Ewan has researched numerous jurisdictions in Europe (Bulgaria, Norway, Holland and Greece) and Asia Pacific (India, Japan and Australia). Now in his freelance capacity, Ewan continues to write for The Legal 500 and has written for other legal publications with international reach.
