Ryan, originally from Gibraltar, has been interested in the field of law ever since his early days studying literature by Charles Dickens and others at the University of Kent. After completing his degree, Ryan undertook the GDL, where he developed his knowledge of the core areas of law, alongside improving his time management skills and ability to critically engage with large swathes of content in a quick and effective manner. Following this, Ryan went on to complete a corporate law experience programme with a firm in Gibraltar and worked as a legal assistant in a London-based immigration law firm before joining the team at Legalease. Ryan has a particular interest within clinical and professional negligence and is excited to learn as much as he can about other areas of law during the course of his research. Ryan is also a keen rower with years of experience, who is hoping to return to competing in the near future.
