Career
Gonçalo Reino Pires joined the Lisbon office of Uría Menéndez in 2019 as Counsel responsible for the Urban Planning practice area. Previously, he was a partner of Serra Lopes, Cortes Martins.
Gonçalo has over 15 years of experience in advising clients from the public and private sectors in the areas of urban planning, spatial planning and the environment, in which he has focused his professional career from the beginning.
He provides legal advice in all areas of urban planning law, both in transactions and in real estate promotion of residential, commercial, service, industrial and logistics projects, namely in terms of planning instruments, administrative control of urban operations, operations of urban and land restructuring, and environmental impact assessment.
Gonçalo collaborates with various university institutions, as a teacher on postgraduate courses and participating, as a speaker, in conferences on the topic of urban planning law.
