Career

Alexey is an attorney-at-law admitted to the bar in New York and Russia. He heads the KPMG Law practices across five jurisdictions within the Caucasus and Central Asia region, including Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan. Previously, Mr. Abramov served as a partner at KPMG Law’s Moscow office, where he led the firm’s Real Estate Practice and Commercial Litigation Practice in the CIS. With over 20 years of legal consulting experience, he specializes in real estate, corporate litigation projects, bankruptcy, and restructuring. Alexey’s project portfolio features major real estate transactions and M&A engagements, including legal due diligence work. Alexey joined KPMG Law Caucasus and Central Asia in June 2022 and contributed substantially to the practice’s revenues and the increase in the number of lawyers.
