Career

Lisa is part of the medical negligence solicitors and personal injury teams at Thompsons Solicitors.

Based in Cardiff and covering cases across the South West and Wales, Lisa has eight years of legal experience and runs a varied high-value caseload of clinical negligence matters, as well as providing assistance to senior solicitors on more complex cases.

Lisa provides representation for clients who have suffered orthopaedic injuriesdelayed cancer diagnosesbrain injuries, hypoxic brain injuries at birth, cerebral palsy and GP negligence. Lisa also represents a number of clients who have suffered as a result of receiving a mesh implant.

A tenacious investigator, Lisa is focused on ensuring clients who have sustained a life altering injury as a result of negligent treatment receive maximum compensation.

Kind and compassionate, Lisa is keenly aware that those who have suffered medical negligence are left to rebuild their lives after such trauma, with many requiring additional treatment or therapies which they would not usually have access to under the NHS.

It is very rewarding for Lisa to see her clients’ lives change in a positive way during the course of a claim and being able to obtain justice for victims of clinical negligence is Lisa’s favourite aspect of working at Thompsons.

Personal

Outside of work, Lisa volunteers at the Bridgend branch of the Headway brain injury charity, where she is also a committee member.

Leisure

As well as keeping active, travelling and exploring new cultures, Lisa also bakes in her spare time and enjoys rustling up treats for charity events.
