Career

Stéphane Bloch joined Ogletree Deakins as Partner in 2021.

He has acquired recognized experience in the practice of employment law in all its components, and more particularly within public and para-public sector companies and so-called “status” companies employing private law personnel, without of course forgetting civil service law in the strict sense.

He has developed a particular expertise in the field of the coexistence, within the same entity, of private and public law populations in terms of individual and collective labour relations.

Stéphane regularly gives training courses, particularly on the subject of staff representative bodies, collective bargaining rules and trade union law. He is also a lecturer for AvoSial on highly specialized subjects such as staff transfers between the public and private sectors or the administrative control of PSEs, and teaches at the University of Paris Est-Créteil on the subject of individual labour relations.

Stéphane Bloch is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA) of the International Union of Labour Law (UIA), of the French Association of Labour Law (AFDT), and of the Board of the Association of Corporate Lawyers in Social Law (AvoSial).

Stéphane is passionate about mountain biking, ski touring and collecting vintage motorbikes.
