Career
After many years working in Sweden (1981-6) CPE / Law Society Finals in Nottingham, qualified as solicitor (Nelsons, Nottingham). Moved to Suffolk 1993. Joined Graham & Oldham (criminal litigation). Partner at what became Ashton Graham (now Ashtons Legal) until 2003 (following Graham & Oldham / Bankes Ashton merger). Then joined Barker Gotelee to concentrate on road transport criminal regulatory law. Continued to develop work in road transport sector joining Woodfines (Cambridge) in 2010. Re-joined Ashtons Legal in April 2017.
Tim specialises in advising and representing businesses and individuals in regulatory matters, including regulatory criminal cases, in particular guiding them through investigations and defending any subsequent prosecution or regulatory action being taken in courts or other tribunals.
