Sofia Ferreira Enriquez

Sofia Ferreira Enriquez joined FCB in 2020 as a Coordinating Associate, assuming the coordination of the Insurance and the Transportation Law Departments.

With 20 years of experience, she has developed her practice in the sectors of Insurance, Maritime Law and Transportation, Contracts, International Trade, Regulation, Compliance and Life Sciences, representing leading companies in the national and international markets. She has represented several entities in both new projects, contracts and negotiation,as well as in lawsuits, misdemeanour litigation and arbitration or inregulatory matters. She has contributed with proposals for legislative procedures organized by the World Bank and she was a teacher in several workshops. Sofia has a master’s degree in Legal Sciences – Maritime Law by the Lisbon University Law School, where she taught different matters for nine years and where she still teaches, occasionally, in Post-Graduation Courses.
