Mr Anglani is a member of: IBA – International Bar Association (Senior Vice Chair in the Litigation Committee and member of the Arbitration and Mediation committees); A.I.A.-Associazione Italiana Arbitrato; ArbIt – the Italian Forum for Arbitration and ADR (co- founder and current co-chair); CELA – Chinese European Legal Association, supporting CEAC (the Chinese European Arbitration Centre) where he is a member of the relevant Appointing Authority;  AIGE – Associazione Italiana Giuristi Europei.

Admitted before the Supreme Court, Angelo also assists before the Italian Constitutional Court and the European Court of Justice.

Position

Equity Partner, based in Rome. Angelo Anglani is an experienced dispute resolution lawyer, with a particular focus on cross border litigation and international arbitration.

His practice ranges from general commercial litigation to securities litigation, mass actions, unfair competition, product liability, litigation or pre-litigation arising from m&a, construction, energy and commercial contracts, also with respect to any insolvency related aspects.

He is very active in the area of international and domestic arbitration, whether under the rules of ICC and other arbitral institutions, under ad-hoc rules, or in the context of court challenges of arbitration awards. Frequently appointed as arbitrator in international arbitration proceedings.

He frequently acted as expert on Italian law in legal proceedings pending before foreign courts, preparing affidavit and/or expert reports on aspects of Italian law applicable to the relevant disputes.

He repeatedly assisted, as a counsel, foreign clients in mediation procedures held in Italy.
