Carrie Sun is the Shenzhen-based partner of Global Law Office and she specializes in PE/VC, cross border M&A, capital markets and foreign direct investment. Carrie has served companies in the industries of medical, manufacturing, telecommunication, automotive, real estate, mining, service and other industries, etc.

Carrie has extensive experience in the capital market and her representative projects include but not limited to the public listing on the NYSE and subsequent capital increase issuance of Mindray International; public offering and listing on the main board of the HKEX of Belle, Yide Internaltional, Wuzhou International, Hung Fook Tong, Ten Pao Group, Vincent Medical Holdings, Smart-Core Holdings, Mengke Holdings, Trio Industrial Electronics, Oneforce Holdings, Tian Chang Group and Tian Yuan Group; public listing on the Growth Enterprise Market of the HKEX of Golden Power Group and ZC Tech GP; overseas bond issuance of China Overseas Group.

Carrie has actively participated in and/or led many merger & acquisition and restructuring projects including Hong Kong Sincere Watch’s acquisition of Hainan Boao Lecheng, CLSA’s investment in a Hangzhou baby products company, Orchid Asia’s investment in online-consuming companies in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, CGN’s acquisition of LNG Gas station project, Goldman Sachs’ equity acquisition on Shenzhen Mindray and its listing on NASDAQ and subsequent series of additional issuance,  Heng Ding and New World’s acquisition of convertible bond of an agricultural company in Sichuan, Thomson’s Investment on Konka, Hyosung’s acquisition of a Chinese transformer manufacturer, etc.

Carrie was named one of 15 Top Female Lawyers of Year 2015 in China by Asia Legal Business and recognized by the LEGAL 500 as Highly Recommended Chinese Lawyers in corporate and capital markets of Year 2019.
