Founding Partner, Lead of the Capital Markets. Banking & Finance, Foriegn Exchange Controls and Project Finance Department. Her practice is focused on advising both local and international entities on Capital Markets, Banking and Financial Law, Foreign Exchange Regulations, Regulations of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, Financial Restructuring and Project Finance. She is specialized in the regulation of the National Securities Committee. Alexia has extensive experience with IPOs and follows-on in the issuance of shares. She advised on several issuances of negotiable obligations of several companies and financial trusts with public offering. Comprehensive advice connected to the regulations of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic and foreign exchange legislation. She is very active in the Public Mutual Funds advising more than 40 Mutual Funds either to the Depositary or the Manager Company or both. She advises the underwriters and the issuers in public offerings. She is also active at the Pro Bono work. She is the only external legal counsel to BYMA, the stock exchange that integrates and represents the main market players of the local market and she is member of the Board of Director of MAE, the most important electronic securities and foreign-currency trading market in Argentina

Education

She obtained her degree from the School of Law of Buenos Aires University in 1995. -She also graduated as Bachelor in Political Sciences at the same university (1996). -She attended the Master’s degree in “Politics of the World Economy” at the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) (1997) and conducted post-graduate studies in Business Law Specialization at Austral University (1999).
