Career

Mohammed is a leading Emirati lawyer, whose practice spans both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Mohammed attended university in London, graduating with a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB Hons). Upon returning to the UAE, he worked and trained with a number of prominent international legal teams, including the legal teams of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and one of Abu Dhabi’s largest commercial arms (Mubadala Development Company). As a lawyer at Hadef & Partners, Mohammed worked with one of the leading corporate and M&A teams in the UAE. In 2015 he founded his own firm, MAD Advocates, before merging and forming ADG in 2017.

With broad commercial/corporate law experience including restructuring, complex contract negotiations, JVs and corporate governance, Mohammed provides clients with clear corporate advice and guidance. A licensed advocate, Mohammed also has full rights of appearance before all the competent courts of the UAE, and has broad experience of complex arbitration, commercial litigation and criminal matters. He acts as mediator  in commercial and family disputes and as sole arbitrator in the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).

In recent years, Mohammed has increased his focus on assisting clients with international work. He travels extensively in the region and has been actively involved in commercial and non-commercial work in East Africa (including Sudan, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Somaliland).
