Position

Karin Attorps has since 2000 been working as tax advisor and tax lawyer, with previous experience from both a business law firm and a Big 4 firm. Karin advises corporate clients, Swedish as well as foreign multinationals, regarding corporate income tax matters, tax controversy and advance tax ruling procedures. She advises on a wide range of tax matters focusing on tax structuring, often with a cross-border element, transaction related tax issues and spin-offs, refinancing, tax matters in relation to IPOs and other public offerings. Karin further advises on tax matters regarding incentive schemes and assists with review of corporate income tax returns. Her vast experience includes corporate clients from various sectors ranging from real estate to medicine technology, including aircraft, consumer, energy, finance, industrial manufacturing, pharmacy, private equity and telecom. The clients are mainly larger companies, but her experience also includes government- and municipality owned companies as well as founder-led companies and non-profit organizations.

Karin takes an active part in the Swedish tax community and is the vice chairman of the International Chambers of Commerce's (ICC) Swedish tax committee and member of the editorial committee of the tax journal SkatteNytt.
