Alf-Peter Svensson

Alf-Peter Svensson works mainly with regulatory issues within the firm's Litigation & Regulatory group. He has more than 25 years of experience within the financial sector and has also worked as a bank lawyer, Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer. Alf-Peter gives advice to financial market participants in matters relating to license applications to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority as well as matters regarding supervisory and penalty cases. He is a qualified speaker in different training situations and has written educational books on the subject of financial advice and market abuse.

Anders Malmström

Anders Malmström works with M&A, real estate transactions, private equity and general corporate matters. He has a large experience in Swedish and multi-jurisdictional transactions and fund structuring. Anders heads the DLA Pipers corporate group in Sweden.

Anna Berntorp

Anna Berntorp mainly works with capital markets, M&A and corporate advice. Anna has experience from IPOs and investments and corporate governance in private and listed companies. Furthermore, Anna continuously advises clients in capital markets related matters such as information disclosure, insider issues and reporting obligations. Anna has been teaching corporate law at the University of Stockholm.

Anna Jussil Broms

Anna Jussil Broms drafts and negotiates commercial contracts relating to IT, technology, intellectual property rights, sports, media, distribution and franchise. She acts for both global groups of companies as well as small and medium sized enterprises. Anna advises clients on complex contracts concerning software licensing, distribution, cloud computing, social media, data protection and e-commerce. She is experienced in registration, licensing and litigation relating to intellectual property rights and regulatory issues and contentious matters in the media- and telecom sectors. She is also active within the firm's Corporate practice group, focusing on company acquisitions and co-operations.

Arthur Csatho

Arthur Csatho mainly works within the insurance, finance, securities trading, IT and logistics sectors. He works mainly with issues relating to contracts, M&A, regulatory and disputes, often with cross-border implications. Arthur has, in addition to his Swedish law degree, studied law in London, Germany and in the US and assists both Swedish and international clients. Arthur regularly organizes tailored training programmes and seminars for client companies.

Björn Sjöberg

Björn Sjöberg represents both finance providers and borrowers and works mainly with leveraged- and acquisition finance, project finance, real estate finance and structured finance, particularly asset finance and receivables finance. He also has considerable experience of capital market transactions of various kinds, such as bond issues, convertible bonds, securitization, participating debentures. Björn is also active within the firm’s Corporate group, focusing on company acquisitions and capital market issues especially in the real estate- and financial services sectors.

Björn Rustare

Björn Rustare has 20 years' experience in the field of employment law, including advice related to reorganizations, cross-border business transfers, M&A transactions, management agreements and incentive programmes, collective bargaining agreements, working environment issues and trade union relations.

Blanka Kruljac Rolén

Blanka Kruljac-Rolén focuses on housing association, association and tenancy law. In addition, she regularly acts in other real estate matters and has extensive experience in litigation with a focus on real estate and rental tribunal court disputes. Blanka has a background from the courts, including acting rent tribunal judge in Stockholm. She has worked as General Counsel at HSB National Association. She has participated as an expert in several governmental investigations.

Carl Schwieler

Carl Schwieler advises lenders, borrowers and other participants in all aspects of banking and finance. He works mainly with acquisition finance, leasing and other structured finance and regulatory matters. Carl is also active within the firm's corporate team and has considerable experience of company acquisitions/ M&A, company law and private equity.

David Johansson

David Johansson mainly focuses on insurance and dispute resolution. He has varied domestic and international dispute resolution experience. He has represented clients in both ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings, with a focus on arbitrations under the auspices of the SCC. As well as arbitration, he has dealt with disputes in all instances of the Swedish courts for civil procedure, including the Supreme Court. He has handled matters in a range of industry sectors, with a focus on financial services, energy and construction. He also advises clients on contentious insurance issues.

Emma Norburg

Emma Norburg works primarily with capital markets, M&A and investments. Emma is experienced in IPOs, issues of financial instruments in listed companies and public take overs. Emma regularly advises listed companies in corporate governance issues and in other capital markets and company law issues.

Erik Björkeson

Erik Björkeson has more than 22 years of experience working with national and international tax law. He works extensively with international corporate taxation and VAT and is highly experienced in handling all aspects of cross-border transactions. Erik also handles matters related to structuring of investments in Sweden and the structure and immaterial right aspects of private equity matters.

Erik Brändt Öfverholm

Erik Brändt Öfverholm specializes in competition law. He heads DLA Piper's Competition & Public Procurement group in Sweden. Before joining DLA Piper, he was the head of EU and Competition Law at another international law firm in Stockholm. Erik also has a background at the Swedish Competition Authority.

Erik Selander

Erik Selander is part of the restructuring and insolvency team. Erik’s extensive international experience regarding company reorganisations, liquidations and bankruptcies is fundamental to DLA Piper’s Restructuring and Insolvency group. Erik is in charge of DLA Piper's restructuring and insolvency team at Nordic level/the Nordic platform. Erik represents finance providers as well as borrowers. Erik works primarily on cases involving the handling of elevated credit risks and related security issues. Furthermore, Erik who has previously worked at one of the largest Swedish banks with credit related issues for approximately 10 years, is also part of our banking and finance team where he focuses on issues in the border between banking & finance and reconstruction. Erik is a member of the World Bank Insolvency Task Force representing Sweden. Erik is appointed by the World Bank as National correspondent regarding insolvency law and company law. Erik leads the Research Panel for Insolvency Law, Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law/Stockholm University and, was a member of the Council at the Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law (SCCL). Erik is also involved in DLA Piper's Sports and Events initiative and is responsible partner concerning DLA Piper's matter as exclusive legal advisor to Åre 2019 AB, organizer of the Alpine World Championships in Åre 2019.

Gustaf Reuterskiöld is an experienced lawyer with more than 15 years of experience in Swedish and International business law with particular focus on corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, real estate law, IT and commercial agreements, and domestic and international dispute resolution.

Gustaf Ström

Gustaf Ström mainly works with property-related investments/sales, general real estate law and general commercial law. He regularly gives legal advice to Swedish as well as international companies and property funds regarding property-related investments/sales. Gustaf has also assisted his clients in joint-ventures and other cooperation projects and in major property development projects. Gustaf has a considerable experience working with property related legal questions and property funding.

Gustav Lundin

Gustav Lundin is focused on IT and technology related industries and works at DLA Piper's office in Stockholm, Sweden, Gustav works with various kinds of outsourcing projects, system and cloud service procurements, data protection matters and various technology transactions (including R&D co-operations, license agreements and technology transfer arrangements etc.). Henrik Wollsén

Henrik Wollsén has worked with real estate law for more than 30 years, mainly concerning dispute resolution. He is acting both as counsel in arbitral proceedings and as party-appointed arbitrator, primarily within the field of construction law. Henrik also holds courses regarding land development and real estate transfers.

Jennie Nilsson

Jennie Nilsson specializes in Data Privacy and Information Security. She heads DLA Piper's Digital, Data & Cyber practice group in Sweden. Before joining DLA Piper, she was the head of Data Privacy at another international law firm in Stockholm, and served as an in-house legal counsel at an international audit and consultancy firm. She has also served as a law clerk. Jennie provides advice relating to all GDPR/privacy and information security-related matters, such as data transfer arrangements, personal data breaches, cross-border data privacy compliance projects, patient data considerations, advertising/marketing, the NIS Directive and AI/Data Governance.

Jesper Lindbom

Joakim Hedström

Joakim is a partner and works as a bankruptcy trustee, administrator, and liquidator. He also represents creditors with regard to recovery of assets, advises on security issues, insolvency questions and reorganisation matters, as well as company investigations. In addition, Joakim regularly works with litigation and arbitration, especially with regard to recovery of assets, all stages of bankruptcy proceedings and security rights. Furthermore, he has experience within the fields of real estate and contract law.

Johan Forsling

Johan Forsling works with larger development projects, real estate transactions, cadastral procedures and general real estate matters including litigation. Furthermore, Johan has considerable experience in working with wind power projects and renewable energy.

Johan Zetterström

Johan Zetterström is a Partner in DLA Piper Sweden's Employment Group. He handles various employment law related issues, however with a particular focus on reorganizations, individual terminations and collective redundancies. He advises Swedish and international clients in a multitude of employment law matters, such as work force reductions, closures, mergers, business transfers, outsourcings, working environment matters, discrimination disputes and litigation. Johan also participates in the Swedish labour law debate in the form of opinion pieces in various business newspapers and on legal news sites on the Internet. He teaches employment law to both clients and external audiences.

Jonas Premfors

Jonas Premfors works mainly as administrator in bankruptcy estates, as liquidator and with company reorganizations. Jonas is experienced of insolvency issues within a number of different industries, with special focus on the construction industry. In addition, Jonas regularly works with litigation and arbitration, in particular on issues relating to recovery in bankruptcy and personal liability for the board of directors and owners. Jonas also assists banks and other clients on issues relating to credit securities. Jonas also assists clients in the automotive industry.

Josephine Tessmar

Joséphine Tessmar regularly represents Swedish and international borrowers, banks, debt funds and other finance providers as well as equity investors. She works mainly with leveraged- and acquisition finance, real estate finance and project finance (primarily wind). She also has experience of capital market transactions, such as bond issues. In addition, Joséphine is very active in the Corporate team where she works regularly with M&A, investments and general corporate and commercial issues and in the Real Estate team where she works mainly with real estate M&A and real estate property-related investments/sales.

Karin Attorps

Karin Attorps has since 2000 been working as tax advisor and tax lawyer, with previous experience from both a business law firm and a Big 4 firm. Karin advises corporate clients, Swedish as well as foreign multinationals, regarding corporate income tax matters, tax controversy and advance tax ruling procedures. She advises on a wide range of tax matters focusing on tax structuring, often with a cross-border element, transaction related tax issues and spin-offs, refinancing, tax matters in relation to IPOs and other public offerings. Karin further advises on tax matters regarding incentive schemes and assists with review of corporate income tax returns. Her vast experience includes corporate clients from various sectors ranging from real estate to medicine technology, including aircraft, consumer, energy, finance, industrial manufacturing, pharmacy, private equity and telecom. The clients are mainly larger companies, but her experience also includes government- and municipality owned companies as well as founder-led companies and non-profit organizations. Karin takes an active part in the Swedish tax community and is the vice chairman of the International Chambers of Commerce's (ICC) Swedish tax committee and member of the editorial committee of the tax journal SkatteNytt.

Karl-Oscar Dalin

Karl-Oscar Dalin has significant experience from representing clients in high stakes litigation and arbitral proceedings (Ad hoc, SCC, ICC, UNCITRAL, CIETAC, AAA), but also advises clients in complex settlement negotiations and mediation proceedings. He has acted for parties from many different jurisdictions and often in disputes governed by foreign substantive laws. Karl-Oscar represents clients in disputes regarding M&A transactions, financial markets regulation/liability, construction and real estate, energy (nuclear, hydro power, wind, oil & gas), industry projects, technology licensing and the food & beverage industry. In addition to his engagements with leading Swedish law firms, Karl-Oscar has worked at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and the Swedish construction company Skanska AB (Publ). Magnus Oskarsson is a partner and active in the firm's Corporate group. Magnus has extensive experience of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investments and corporate law, often with international and cross-border aspects. Magnus' clients are mainly Swedish and international venture capital companies and companies operating in the tech and fintech sectors. Magnus has particular experience and expertise in the fintech sector and has, among other things, been a board member of SweFinTech, an independent industry organization for companies operating in the Swedish fintech sector. Magnus is appointed as the firm's Managing Partner starting May 1, 2024.

Marianne Ramel

Marianne Ramel is experienced in a broad range of debt and equity finance transactions, particularly in project finance (including public-private partnership), real estate finance and acquisition finance. Marianne has represented a wide range of finance providers (including sovereigns) and borrowers. Marianne is also active within the firm’s Corporate group. Marianne is head of the China desk in Sweden, and is experienced in cross-border transactions, with a particular emphasis on the Chinese market. Having worked and studied in various periods in China since 1988, Marianne has given advice on some of the largest foreign investments in China, as well as on outbound Chinese investments. Marianne advises Nordic companies in achieving their strategic and commercial plans in China, as well as Chinese companies investing in the Nordic region.

Mathias Berggren is a member of the corporate group where he heads the firm's private equity group. Mathias is one of the top three partners in terms of deal volume globally for 2023, and number one in Sweden, according to Mergermarket's individual league table. Mathias is specialized in complex cross-border M&A transactions and private equity and has extensive experience in leading projects for major international private equity sponsors and corporate investors. Mathias has developed a particularly strong reputation for his work on major transactions in the industrials and technology sectors.

Mats Eriksson

Mats Eriksson mainly works with commercial leases, real estate M&A, real estate development, usufruct agreements, and general real estate matters. Mats also assists in energy matters and has extensive experience in M&A and development within renewables, particularly wind and district heating.

Mats Jansson

Mikael Kövamees

Mikael Kövamees has extensive experience in all forms of banking and finance, particularly asset finance, leasing and other structured finance. He has been the lead counsel in a large number of highly complex financing deals in Sweden and internationally, relating to e.g. rolling stock, aircraft, ships, infrastructure and many other types of industrial equipment, as well as project finance, factoring/receivables finance and export finance. Mikael also advises on corporate law issues and matters of general commercial law as well as litigation and arbitration.

Peder has considerable experience from IPOs, public takeover offers, private company and asset acquisitions and divestments, mergers, restructurings, share issues and other capital raisings, share splits, issues of warrants, and of complex company law and corporate governance matters. He continuously advices clients on disclosure and inside information issues, corporate governance, corporate law and compliance with generally accepted principles in the securities market.
