Position

David Hamou is a partner at M. Firon & Co., heading the firm's commercial litigation department. David has years of experience in large scale, intricate disputes, specializing in all disciplines of commercial and civil litigation, including in arbitration and mediation. His professional resume includes hundreds of appearances before all instances of the Israeli courts, including the Supreme Court. His clientele comprises Israel’s largest and most prominent private and publicly traded companies, which benefit from trusted legal representation in sensitive disputes, some valued at tens and even hundreds of millions of shekels. David's fields of expertise include real estate claims, financial claims, arbitrations and mediations, lawsuits between companies and corporations, and more. He is particularly knowledgeable in claims pertaining to complex PPP, BOT and PFI infrastructure projects, many of which often introduce precedential questions, both legal and commercial. David's services are not limited to existing legal proceedings, but also encompass ongoing legal advice to companies as means of preventing future lawsuits. Among his clientele are publicly traded companies and some of Israel's most renowned entities in the fields of construction, transportation, communication, distribution, insurance, public administration and more. In addition, David represents international companies and foreign business people in disputes pertaining to their business operations in Israel. He advises longstanding clients, the relationships with some of whom date back many years, on all their business disputes, as well as new clients seeking ad hoc representation in specific legal proceedings.
